The room was cozy, but the bathroom had a lingering smell.

Beautiful terrace with lovely sunset views.
I had a frustrating experience with the air conditioning, which I couldn’t turn off due to a missing remote. Waking up in the middle of the night feeling cold was not enjoyable, and I regretted not addressing it sooner with management. The bathroom privacy issue was even more problematic as the flimsy curtain offered little comfort, and it made the stay awkward.

During my stay, I appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the experience memorable. Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaited me as Kouy, the manager, took the time to highlight local dining options and attractions on a personalized map. The location was excellent, with easy access to major tourist spots like the Nam Phou Fountain and Wat Ong Teu within a short walk. Although there were steep stairs to navigate, the charm of the environment and the comfort of my Standard Single Room with Shower really made my five-night stay enjoyable.

I stayed at Moonlight Champa for five nights. The manager, Kouy, made a fantastic first impression by welcoming me personally and sharing a map filled with local dining options and attractions. My room had a comfy bed and worked well with A/C. The location was perfect, around 10-15 minutes' walk to downtown. Enjoyed the charm of cooking my breakfast in the shared kitchen and the availability of free bicycles for exploring the area. there were quite a few steep stairs to my fourth-floor room, which could be challenging for some. The towels offered could be refreshed, as they felt worn. Despite this, the warm hospitality from the staff greatly enhanced my stay, making the minor inconveniences easier to overlook.

Convenient and comfy stay
Really enjoyed my time here! The location's super central, food market just a short walk away. The staff were amazing. they gave me free bottled water all day. I even had a nice little kettle in my room for coffee! Just wish the room had a bit more space, felt kinda tight with all my luggage.

The Standard Double Room was great! Super spacious with a comfy bed, and the terrace was a nice bonus for chilling out. The air conditioning worked well, which was a lifesaver during the hot days. Just a heads up, the bathroom was a bit tight and could use better privacy options, but overall it was a pretty solid stay.

Had a great time with friends at this charming guesthouse! Close to places like the Nam Phou Fountain and great local eateries. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and included. Having free bicycles was a nice touch for exploring the area.
One downside was that the towels could definitely use a refresh as they felt a bit worn.

nice stay but a few drawbacks
The host shared great insights about local attractions that made my visit more enjoyable. The common lounge, filled with various reading materials on Laos, created a perfect space to unwind. A beautiful terrace with sunset views provided a lovely spot to relax during the evening. The staff assistance and availability of free water refills added a nice touch.
The bedding could use a refresh, as it felt slightly worn.
